Findley Campsites

Water is nearly inaccessible as the washhouses are set far back from the road. As many sites are in a pine forest, mud can be a problem.

Walking:  4.3 miles through the park.  Subtract 0.55 if you don't go to the lake (3.75 miles).
 

EXCELLENT -- 228 and 227 are by water and reasonably dry (the map is WRONG), 186, 188, 189, 190, 192, 214

VERY NICE -- 177, 217 is short but next to potable water

OK -- 169, 175, 176, 205, 209, 211, 215, 216, 219, 220, 221, 222,  231, 247, 248

GOOD (muddy) -- 223, 224, 234, 236, 234 – real good but muddy

LAST RESORT -- 178, 179, 181, 183, 202

FOR MUDDY WEATHER - 231 and 229

EXCELLENT -- 229-huge, 186 back on cul de sac, 188, 189, 190, 192, 214
