October is the best month.  Windows open, breeze blowing through and the sun is shining.  AND WHAT A MOON!!!

First time I saw a snail in the wild!

 

IMPORTANT!

Do NOT leave around noon to 1 pm.  That puts you into the Raliegh bypass in the middle of rush hour.  It was AWFUL!!!
