I went from "the weather looks pretty good!" to "Let's get going!"  Highs in the mid-70s in northern Ohio in late October is a gift that needs to be opened immediately.

Got there early and took a nice walk in the sun.

Red Bird trail follows the lake line and if you do all the little side trails you get about 3.2 miles.

October is a month of contrasts:

In October the campground is fairly empty.  The full hookup sites are crowded but the rest of the park is not.  You can see our box in the middle back.

Odo watching for squirrels in the tree in the middle of the cul de sac.

Note to self:  Four hot dogs is enough.

The forecast was for rain all day Wednesday but Tuesday was just too nice a day.  Figured I would test out if leaving in the rain was all that bad.  Turns out ... no ... but not because of rain.  The opposite.  About 7:30 am I checked the radar.  It had been raining.  But there was a large break in the rain.  We got out, dumped and left.  Hit some rain on the way home.  Got home as it started raining hard again.  Did lunch, a nap and no rain!  Got all unloaded and flushed before it started again.

A great trip.
