Yahoo us!  Got here Saturday and the weather forcast is for fantastic spring weather all week!

Our first day was fiddling around the condo, putting up new stuff.  Took a 2.5 mile morning walk and a 2.3 mile evening walk up and down Oceanview.

We grew a beach!

Saw my first loon!  A loon is a bird that migrates from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico.  They rest on our beaches.  A loon cannot walk on land and appears injured.  It cannot take off from land.  This on is before dawn.  It was MUCH darker than it appears here.

I had one angry mocking jay mama.  She would often come up and give us the what for and fly away.  It appears there is a nest under the building somewhere.

Warmed up enough to spend a great evening of reading on the deck.

Complete with a rising blood moon!

I didn't think Toodles really wanted to do a beach walk.  He was THRILLED to be on the beach.  Go figure.  So many more smells inland.  He went NUTS in the ocean.

More hell from the Mocking Jay.

Here is a video of a Mocking Jay that has been very upset that Toodledip is sitting on the deck.  I tried finding a nest under or around us but found nothing.  I think mama has a nest within a tree within eyesight and doesn't like the idea Toodles might realize where the nest is.

An update on the home that was moved a couple of years back.  Over the last month they seem to have gotten some plumbing done.
