Didn't expect a February trip to the Outer Banks but here I am, roadsalt and all!  There are new windows and sliders in the condo and it needed to be checked before the season.  I have renters starting in February.  Lucky I did, too, as everything in the condo was moved around and caddywompus.

Temperatures for the first day was 65 and sunny!!!  Next day was 70 and sunny!  What great weather.  It was in the 50s with clouds and some rain for most of the other days.

We continue to accumulate sand!  Here are the condo steps on the left and the Koru Resort steps, just north of me, on the right.  Both of these steps were built down to what was the beach about this time last year.

One thing about walking the beach this time of year:  You are normally alone.  This is a mile and a half south of the condo, looking back at the pier.  In a few months this will be filled with people.

Had a gorgeous day to drive home and that's not a trivial thing in February across some 700 miles and five states and D.C.  Back to the snow and cold ....
