Having
fought so hard for so long to keep from improving this state park
campground, the State finally put in two rows of electric. It
isn't much but it is a start.
That being
said, when the weather is dry the trail systems is first rate.
You might be saying, "Wow, how sad! No camping for such a long
time!" Well, none of that! I have been very busy and the
business is nothing but enjoyable. The priority of camping has
taken a back seat to other ventures. Plus, it appears no one wants
to camp with me, save Grace and Moose.
It was good to be back and in the woods.
I normally don't like coming to camp in a full park in the summer.
But this is different. I'm finding my place.
First off, I'm here without a dingy, and I'm fine with that. I'm
considering that I might have brought the bike and trailer but I'll
leave that for next time.
I was able to complete a significant amount of work while still taking
numerous walks around the lake, sitting outside reading, watching DVDs,
etc.
A very nice trip!
By the way, sites 228 or 229 are fine. 228 is near water but 229
is a tiny bit nicer.
