Having fought so hard for so long to keep from improving this state park campground, the State finally put in two rows of electric. It isn't much but it is a start. That being said, when the weather is dry the trail systems is first rate.
Sunday was a great day and Grace, Moose and I were
very surprised to find the paths quite dry. We had a wonderful
walk around the lake. The evening brought us a small, slow thunder
shower that dumped a huge quantity of water on Findley State Park and,
apparently, few other places. I had to sneak home Monday to resend some advertising to the Ohio State Bar Association, the initial advertisement for the signal consulting. After that we returned and I worked on some other papers, read and had lunch. Along came another slow moving, rain-laden storm. More buckets and buckets of water. We are walking inside the campground for now! Tuesday brought a warm and wonderful day filled with walks and other adventures.
It was a great trip. For up-to-date park maps and information, check the Ohio State Park website for Findley State Park |
