The beginning of this trip started badly. We had a knock under the front seat, we had a blowout on the Jeep and had to stop and buy two new tires, and we had the ABS light come on. But little can effect a great trip to the OBX. We had wonderful days and nights filled with walks on the beach, good food, and shopping.

and Lauren decided they wanted to surf. We rented a surf board and
went out in rather small waves. Even at that, both of them were
amazed that the ocean can transport you so far and so fast.
