Punderson, although it has a very poorly designed Campground, is a winter wonderland.  It has ample snow and things to do in the snow.  It's the only or at least the only close-to-Cleveland electrical-available winter camp. It is about an hour east of North Olmsted, Ohio.

A short trip to Punderson just before Labor Day.  We worried about site availability but the camp was nearly empty.  It stayed empty at least through this writing on Friday morning.  This was the first trip that I used cellular for Internet access.  Prior to this we used ham radio or modem lines in the camp offices.  We had wonderful long walks in the woods.  We took the Beach Trail to the lodge then the Mohican Trail back.  Gracie and I have been 100% together.  She was mystified by the fires, especially the sparkily things that look like bugs.  We took many more walks ... around Musher's Trail, Stump Lake (again and again, it's Gracie's favorite).  She found a large snake.  A great trip.  The park did fill on Friday night but it was still a great time.
