The Muskingum parks are wonderful in spring, fall, and winter.  They belong to the permanent site campers in the summer and are best avoided during that time.

We had a great time.  The weather was great.  We flew kites for 20 minutes and Matt dropped his line.  It caught 50 feet on top of a tree and we spend the next four hours getting it down.  We finally overflew it with another kite and got it down.  Yeesh!
