It was odd seeing Megan having fun on the Iron Dragon and kiddie bumper cars at the same time.

(1) Allow 1 1/2 hours!  Don't set anything up on the picnic table.  Midges-thousands of bugs-yuck, yuck, yuck.  Nothing outside!  (2) If any Junior tickets are needed, buy them before arrival--you can buy they two day and junior but must go back for another junior afterward.  Pain!  Get there early on the first night for the beach is great!  Noon is best.  Also-Dominics at the Breakers has GREAT food.  The MaMa's steak was the best Mary ever ate.  Meg is 48.0000000001 inches tall-a regular ticket!  Bummer!  But --- wait --- 5 year old Megan (the preschooler) took the corkscrew, Iron Dragon, Mine Ride (2x), Avalanche Run, Thunder Canyon, and the Gemini --- FANTASTIC!  She also rode alone on many of the 48 inch or accompanied rides.  Fantastic.  Matt did not hesitate taking any of the accompanied rides and enjoys the thrill.  He would -- for sure -- ride ANY ride.  they both refused to ride the Witch's Wheel because Mom told them it was awful.  We also missed Ocean Motion.  Naps both days.  We got caught in a storm coming back from the beach.  Danger--beware of blowing sand!  Sue and Jenny came out.  Jenny rides the rides but Sue's a bit hesitant.  Jenny is 46 inches so stuck with Matt.  It was odd seeing Megan having fun on the Iron Dragon and and kiddie bumper cars at the same time.  We ate very little.  In fact, breakfast - park at 9 AM to 2 PM, lunch, nap, and home.  Very hot, very humid--unlike last year when we wore long pants at night-this year air conditioning all the time -- 72 hours!  Thunder Canyon--take off your shoes and wear a suit.  matt and meg can drive the cars by themselves-all by themselves.  No ground fires--don't take wood.  No bikes.  Went crazy-had fun-next year:  Blue Streak and Demon Drop!
