Here  is my setup allowing me to tow my  2024 Ford Maverick XLT.

USING A NON CHIPPED KEY

First off, you CAN put the car into neutral tow and tow it with a non-chipped key.  This means that if someone breaks into the car while it is connected, they cannot start it with the key they find in the ignition.

USING BLUE OX

I am using a Blue Ox plate I installed myself.

SUGGESTION:  Get the maximum capacity Blue Ox Apollo tow bar.  My ancient aluminum Alladin couldn't handle the truck.

The braking system settings must be adjusted for the hybrid.  I also found minimal setting more than adequate.  RTFM - Read The Frigging Manual.

And, of course, the dogs need their dog condo.  They get in through the front seats.
